"Heterocera" project on visual expression of unconscious mind. This is my private dream diary that I have been keeping for several years, shown in a visual version.
Dreams are a type of free association that is often understood as essential to the creative process, allowing the dreamer to create connections between things (images, thoughts, experiences, etc.) that they cannot (otherwise) consciously connect. We have no influence on what we dream, but it is influenced by the environment in which we are brought up. There are many possibilities in art to represent the unconscious mind and various tools to help with that. Art become a means of getting to know the deepest human mysteries. Although all these works are staged in the real world, they come from the deep center of my unconscious and reflect emotions, fears and memories.
